Job requirements

Essential Expertise:

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Manual Engineer preferably in e-commerce

  • Understanding of testing principles, test design techniques, etc. and ability to apply in practice

  • Proficient use of Bug Tracking/Task Management tools such as JIRA, TeamCity, Microsoft Azure DevOps, ALM, etc.

  • Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger)

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Experience with Chrome DevTools

  • Experience with Postman

  • Experience with Gherkin and/or test automation would be a huge plus

  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

  • Additional advantageous experience in Web security testing or Performance testing

  • Effective communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, coupled with self-organization capabilities, and actively engages in the comprehensive testing process

  • Analytical skills and experience with documentation

  • Experience with A/B Testing would be an advantage


Key Contributions:

  • Analyze documentation and technical specs to ensure thorough test coverage

  • Design and execute test scenarios across mobile, desktop, and multiple browsers

  • Maintain test suites in line with product requirements

  • Perform regression, integration, and acceptance testing

  • Configure test environments for efficient and accurate testing

  • Log and track defects using bug-tracking systems
